Mary’s journey into a career of personal training began after dealing with years of battling an eating disorder. After seeing how challenging herself in a gym changed the way she felt about herself in a positive way, she set out to show others how to do the same. Mary is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and also holds a certification as a Pre & Post Natal Fitness Specialist. During her years as a full time trainer, Mary has worked with numerous populations of people and isn’t fazed by any limitation. In fact, she enjoys them! Additionally, with a specialization in pre & post-natal fitness, Mary has worked with women throughout all stages of their pregnancy and is passionate about helping them have the healthiest pregnancy possible by helping them prepare for their bundle of joy both physically and mentally.
With each and every workout Mary aims to keep it challenging and always fun. Using her own personal experiences, Mary promises she will show you how you can learn to love fitness and also learn to love to yourself. She will show you how to enjoy the process and establish the balance you’ve always wanted.
When not training at Phoenix, you can catch Mary spending quality down time with her husband, walking her 2 crazy dogs throughout Milltown, participating in local 5k races, and refurbishing antique furniture.
