Certified Personal Trainer

Nearly three decades working with the special needs community as an educator has taught Mark how to patiently help people achieve things they didn’t think possible. He holds an A.C.E. certification as a personal trainer which has given him the science and fitness know-how to back that effort up. And his time in the military and as a first responder has taught him that fitness is the essential foundation for being able to engage in activities of daily living, manage stress, and maintain good overall health. Fitness has allowed him to be a volunteer search and rescue technician, an amateur naturalist, explorer of lost historical sites, kayaker, hiker, and gardener. His methods are incremental, knowing just how far to safely push people, and educational, stressing the reasons behind the exercises he programs. He looks forward to helping people make intelligent choices about health and fitness, and achieving their individual goals.
